GRO logo

The Gene Regulation Observatory (GRO) is a group within the Broad that studies, unsurprisingly, genetic regulation. They wanted a logo that reflects both genetics as well as the word "observatory." I went for a mark that both resembled a planet, playing off an astronomical observatory, and DNA wrapped around a complex of histone proteins, pulling it back to genetics. This design is stylized to be able to create this dual image.
